"Reminder of history for a tolerant future of Europe"
Institute PIP organizes this international photo competition on the theme "Reminder of history for a tolerant future of Europe", where young people can express their ideas in an innovative way. We want to preserve the memory of history among the young and attract them to actively think about the history of the European peoples, the reasons for the rise of Nazism and concentration camps, to develop ideas for a more tolerant Europe, and participation in building a better European future.
Young people between 10 and 18 years of age from the European Union are invited to send their products. Publication of results will be on the 25th April 2014, the anniversary of liberation of concentration camp Rižarna (1945).
If you choose to enter, there are two different age categories in which works will be judged:
• young people aged between 10 and 14 years,
• young people aged between 15 and 18 years.
How do I take part?
After the deadline for submission is 31st March 2014, the products will be evaluated by a coordinator Jury to check the compliance with the given rules.
Both winning participants - one from each age category - will be awarded with a compact camera with a value between 100 and 150 euros.
